The Sheet Steel and Air Conditioning Contractors’ Nationwide Affiliation, has chosen its new board president and vice chairman at its 79th Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
Carol Duncan, CEO and proprietor of Basic Sheet Steel, will serve her year-long time period as president for SMACNA. In her new position, Duncan might be targeted on the BE4ALL initiative, a joint effort of SMACNA, SMART and the Worldwide Coaching Institute, to positively impression the trade’s work tradition and meet the real-world demand for the most effective and most certified workforce.
Scott Vidimos, president of Vidimos, will serve his year-long time period as vice chairman for SMACNA. An lively member of SMACNA each nationally and regionally, Vidimos has served in lots of roles and committees, together with SMACNA’s Industrial Contractors Council Steering Committee, Technical Assets Committee, Finances and Finance Committee, Director Nominating Committee and as a SMACNA-IFUS Trustee. Regionally, Vidimos has been closely concerned in his native chapter, the Northern Indiana Sheet Steel Contractors Affiliation.
