Alexandria, VA – The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is now accepting nominations for its 2025 series of awards. These awards celebrate excellence and recognize outstanding achievements in the HVACR industry, with categories ranging from community service to safety and overall excellence.
Sources say that, as the leading organization of quality indoor environment contractors, the ACCA awards program is widely recognized as a celebration of “the best of the best.”
Nominations are currently being accepted for the following categories:
- Residential Contractor of the Year
- Commercial Contractor of the Year
- Service Manager of the Year
- Spirit of Independence Award
- Marketing Masters Award
Two ACCA 2024 award winners shared that winning an ACCA award was a transformative experience.
“Winning the Commercial Contractor of the Year award was a profound honor for our team,” said Andrew Meadows, president of Pro-Air Mechanical, the 2024 Commercial Contractor of the Year. “It validated our dedication to excellence and innovation in the HVACR industry. We always try to help our clients and do whatever it takes to figure out a solution for them. The ACCA award truly signifies being among ‘the best of the best,’ and we’re proud to uphold that legacy.”
ACCA’s 2024 Service Manager of the Year said it was gratifying to not only have his work recognized, but also that of his team.
Gerry Den Ouden of Ree Mechanical, Inc. spoke on being named the 2024 Service Manager of the Year: “Receiving the Service Manager of the Year award was an incredibly rewarding experience. This acknowledgment from ACCA was a testament to the hard work my team, and I put into delivering exceptional service every day.”

Nominations for ACCA’s awards must be received no later than November 30, 2024, via the online nomination form. Recipients will be honored at ACCA 2025, March 24-27, 2025, in Greater Austin, TX.
