Century A/C Supply Names New President

HOUSTON — Ricky Cheek has been promoted to president of Century A/C Supply, a major HVAC distributor in Texas.

For more than 32 years, Cheek has played a vital role in increasing sales, fostering customer relationships, and spearheading strategic initiatives that have enhanced Century’s reputation in the industry, a press release from Century said.

Cheek started at the Century parts counter while pursuing his college education, and later advanced to the role of territory manager. In 2020, Cheek was promoted to sales manager for the Ruud brand, and he was crucial in Century’s ability to successfully navigate the challenges posed by the pandemic, including supply chain and logistics issues and equipment shortages, the press release said. Cheek has built a network of satisfied Ruud dealers across the region and nurtured a strong and inclusive sales team, the press release said.
