Increased adoption of A2L refrigerants is a result of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s directive to phasedown HFC refrigerants during the next 10 years, according to Wayne Powers, sales director of cooling, construction, and specialty products, Building Products, Worthington Enterprises.
“The transition to A2L refrigerants in residential and light commercial equipment is well underway. Worthington’s A2L refrigerant cylinders range in size from 11 pounds to 1,000 pounds of water capacity, operate at a 400-psi service pressure and include a specially designed relief valve on non-refillable cylinders.
