A Closer Look at UV Air Purifiers in Allergy Season

Because this last winter was rainier than usual, we’re going to head into spring with more pollen in the air from plant blooms—and also a higher risk of mold growth. The Dangers of Mold Spores
A high mold count during allergy season (late February to early summer) is a significant danger. The UV radiation either kills the mold spores cells outright or renders them inert and unable to reproduce.
There are numerous advantages to taking this approach with mold spores: it doesn’t place any restriction on airflow, nor does it make use of any chemical disinfectants that can lead to additional air quality issues.
