The Copeland YAW variable-speed scroll compressor platform is designed to support HVAC decarbonization by addressing the heating capacity challenges found in residential and commercial cold climate heat pump (CCHP) and water heating applications. Available in tonnage ranges for residential (2-, 3-, 4-, 5-ton) and commercial (10-, 15- 20-, 25-ton) applications, the YAW platform represents the state of the art in sustainable compression technology — leveraging the low-global warming potential (GWP) A2L refrigerant R-454B, a variable-speed compressor and drive, and vapor injection technologies. By combining variable speeds and vapor injection technologies, the YAW compressor platform can over-speed and inject sub-cooled vapor to achieve the peak of its capacity range. For optimized cooling, variable-speed technology can slow the compressor down in part-load conditions to help achieve the highest possible seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER)

The Midea EVOX G3 Heat Pump System represents the latest in HVAC technology for residential applications, providing efficient heating and cooling across diverse climates, including extreme temperatures.
