WALDWICK, N.J. — Mechanical engineer Joseph Jerkowski, COO of Armistead Mechanical Inc., was recently elected president of the Northeastern Subcontractors Association (NESCA) for the 2025-2026 term. His term will begin on Tuesday, July 1.
Armistead provides mechanical construction, engineering, and contracting services throughout the New Jersey/New York region. The company’s specialties include industrial and process piping, plumbing, HVAC design and installation, temperature control, and preventive maintenance for projects of all sizes.
With more than 35 years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry, Jerkowski brings deep technical knowledge and leadership to his new role with NESCA, a press release from Armistead said. A graduate of Northeastern University with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, Jerkowski has built a career in design and construction management across the plumbing, HVAC, and process piping sectors. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New York and holds master plumber and HVAC licenses in both Rockland and Putnam Counties in New York.

Jerkowski has been an active member of NESCA since 2007 and has served on its board of directors since 2018. He will succeed Bryan Berry of Color Code Painting Inc. as the NESCA president.
