SEATTLE — Business Development Resources (BDR), a training and coaching company for home services businesses, has acquired BxB Media, a full-service marketing agency supporting contractor businesses. As part of the transaction, BDR and BxB have partnered with an investment firm to support the ongoing growth of the combined companies as well as future strategic acquisitions.
BDR and BxB, which is based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, have worked together for more than a decade to support the growth of home service businesses. That history, paired with aligned missions, visions, and values, led to a natural fit in the acquisition process, a press release from BDR said.
“This move marks an exciting new chapter for both our companies as we join forces to better serve our clients and advance our industry,” said Bruce Wiseman, BDR’s CEO and founder. “By combining our strengths and expertise, we are poised to deliver even greater solutions.”
The BxB brand will continue operating under BDR as a new marketing services department.
“We have worked closely with BDR for over a decade and are thrilled that the BxB team will officially become part of this outstanding organization,” said Daniel Eller, BxB’s vice president of innovation. “BDR’s extensive resources and commitment to excellence will ensure that our clients continue to receive the world-class service and support they have come to expect.”
