DSG Opens New Facility in North Dakota

FARGO, N.D. — DSG, a distributor of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical supplies and more, opened a new facility in Fargo, North Dakota, this month.

A May 7 ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by a tour of the warehouse facility by employee owners, customers, manufacturing partners, and community stakeholders.

“We are thrilled about the opportunities ahead in Fargo,” said Paul Kennedy, DSG’s president and CEO, in a press release. “Our new facility provides ample space for accelerated growth and enhanced service capabilities for years to come for our valued customers and manufacturing partners.”

DSG has supplied customers in the electrical space for nearly a century, since 1929. Founded as Fargo Plumbing in 1898, the company quickly pivoted to electrical supplies distribution as the region’s electrical infrastructure was built, the press release said.

DSG continues to be firmly rooted in the community, forming partnerships in the education system through trades-based scholarships; sponsoring a high school career academy pathway focused on distribution, manufacturing and transportation; partnering with a college-level sales program; and more. DSG’s community focus has contributed to the company’s growth across 10 states and 62 branches, and has built futures more than 1,060 employee owners, the press release said.
