TORONTO — HVAC distributors Mits Airconditioning Inc. has been given master distribution rights for products from Clivet S.p.A, a European HVAC manufacturer, for the commercial and industrial sectors in North America.
“We were one of the first to bring European chiller and heat-pump technology to North America over 20 years ago,” said Jack Eliav, president of Mits Air, in a press release. “Our team has the experience, expertise, and well-oiled systems to ensure a smooth and successful entry for Clivet in North America.”
Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Mits Air has provided HVAC solutions commercial buildings, hospitals, nursing homes, educational facilities, and residential buildings for more than 37 years.
While Clivet currently exports to 90 countries worldwide, the agreement with Mits Air represents its first expansion into North America.

Clivet is preparing to offer a variety of products to the North American market, including heat pumps, polyvalent heat recovery units, chillers, free-cooling chillers, modular chillers/heat pumps, and fan coils.

Clivet’s official North American launch event will take place during the 2025 AHR Expo, scheduled for Monday, Feb. 10, through Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Orlando, Florida.
