CVP represents a major advancement in energy testing methodology, designed to reflect real-world performance conditions rather than idealized laboratory scenarios. Unlike the previous “locked unit” test mode, CVP uses an “unlocked” configuration that simulates true end-user conditions, maintaining the same compressor, airflow and TXV position while operating under its own controls.
