As temperatures drop and furnaces fire up, homeowners are counting on comfort — and contractors are counting on reliable, easy-to-use thermostats that deliver it. This heating season, the latest lineup of smart and connected controls is helping pros save time on setup while giving customers more comfort, energy savings, and insight into their home systems. From AI-powered zoning for ductless units to advanced diagnostics that help contractors stay connected long after the install, these thermostats are redefining what “smart” means for the modern HVAC pro.

Cielo

The Cielo Breez Edge Pro is an AI-powered smart thermostat designed exclusively for ductless systems — ideal for mini splits, PTACs, window units, and portable a/c units. Compatible with any ductless system that uses an IR remote with a display, the Breez Edge Pro uses Cielo’s advanced AI technology to auto-detect the manufacturer and model with just a simple point-and-click setup. Powered by the patent-pending Comfy Max intelligent control, Cielo thermostats prevent temperature overshoot by automatically maintaining the desired comfort range — reducing overheating or overcooling. Set the preferred range once, and Comfy Max takes care of the rest. When the home is empty, geofencing automation adjusts temperatures automatically, cutting unnecessary heating or cooling to save energy. With Cielo Breez Edge, multizone systems run smoothly, with no mode conflict, keeping different zones comfortable as desired, without any barriers. For properties with multiple types of HVAC systems, Cielo Linked, the cloud-based platform, integrates all systems for unified, smart control. Added features like a PIN lock protect thermostat settings, while the free Cielo Home App gives fast, easy access to heating and cooling from anywhere. All these smart features are designed to help customers save up to 25% on heating and cooling bills.
