The Trane Thermafit Air-Source Modular Multipipe Unit Model MAS is the newest addition to the Thermafit family of modular units designed to bring more buildings into the future of sustainable comfort. The 30-ton unit is expandable up to 300 tons. It’s an all-electric, all-in-one solution capable of 3 modes of operation: cooling, heating or simultaneous heating and cooling, to meet different building loads.
The Thermafit MAS model can satisfy the entire building’s heating and cooling needs by independently operating the mode of each module in the bank, even if the loads are unbalanced. Its chilled water and hot water loop shave variable flows, improving overall system efficiency.
Designed with genuine redundancy the model MAS has a modular design, eliminates a single point of failure, and helps support continuous operation. Engineers can integrate the ModelMAS easily into new or existing systems.
