ST. LOUIS — Unico announced they now offer the Everstand universal heat pump stand for pairings of its signature indoor air distribution system with Chiltrix air-to-water or other after-market heat pumps throughout North America.
Everstand’s groundbreaking design provides a quick 2–3-minute assembly process, allowing contractors to quickly finish outdoor heat pump installations. Constructed of powder-coated aluminum with stainless steel hardware, Everstand is designed to withstand harsh conditions and is especially beneficial in snowy or wet climates, providing a reliable solution that ensures the heat pump remains secure and efficient no matter the weather conditions.
The Everstand is a new innovative product developed by Evan Trethewey, president of RST Thermal, a longtime manufacturer’s representative for Unico in New England. With the ascendance of heat pumps as an efficient method for heating and cooling in harsh weather environments, Evan saw the need for a product that would provide rugged support for outdoor components that would allow airflow for optimal efficiency. After consulting with several top HVAC contractors and engineers, he produced the design for the Everstand.
Available in two model sizes, the twelve-inch-high ES-12- and eighteen-inch-high ES-18, the Everstand can be purchased through Unico’s website.
“Everstand is the latest offering in our mission to provide quality product solutions for end users while making projects easier for our installing contractors,” said Unico marketing director Ashton Gavelek.
