33 HVAC Contractors Make the 2026 Inc. 5000 List

Inc. Magazine has released its annual Inc. 5000 list, which includes nearly 35 HVAC contractors who have seen exceptional growth.

Every year, the magazine ranks the fastest-growing private companies in America. For the 2026 list, the median revenue growth for honorees was 130% over the three years from 2022 to 2025.

To qualify, companies must be privately held, for-profit, based in the U.S. and not be a subsidiary or division of another company. They must have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2022 and at least $2 million in 2025.

“Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision-making, and a refusal to sit still,” said Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance — it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact. We congratulate all honorees on this significant achievement.”

The magazine then takes the company’s revenue and calculates its percentage growth over those three years. The top 5,000 companies are ranked based on that percentage.

The ACHR NEWS found 33 HVAC contractors that earned a spot on this year’s list. Below is a list of the companies, their rank, their percentage growth, and how many times they’ve made the Inc. 5000 list (including 2026).

HVAC Industry Support

In addition to contractors, companies supporting the industry made the list as well. Marketing companies working with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other home service companies made this year’s list, including Rival Digital at No. 660 and Red Barn Media Group at No. 1,245.

“Making the Inc. 5000 is an incredible milestone for our entire team,” said Drew Wade, CEO of Red Barn Media Group. “We’ve built Red Barn around a simple idea: understand the trades, take care of our clients, and deliver marketing that actually helps contractors grow. This recognition belongs to our team and the clients and industry partners who continue to put their trust in us.”

JB Warranties, a provider of warranty programs for the HVAC and plumbing industries, earned #3,231 on this year’s list. Meanwhile, Refrigeration Technologies, a manufacturer and supplier of chemicals and products for HVACR, earned No. 3,590 for 76% growth, its fifth consecutive time on the list.

“Five years on this list isn’t luck; it’s the result of a team that keeps innovating for the people who actually use our products,” said Mike Pastorello, president and CEO of Refrigeration Technologies. “We were founded to bring technicians safer products that work just as well as the harsh chemicals they’d been using — and that’s still true of everything we build today. Every product starts with a contractor’s real jobsite headache, not a boardroom guess.”
