The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute has launched its newest heating and cooling tools cargo knowledge.

U.S. shipments of residential fuel storage water heaters for February 2024 elevated 7%, to 397,529 models, up from 371,462 models shipped in February 2023. Residential electrical storage water heater shipments elevated 10.4% in February 2024 to 454,577 models, up from 411,916 models shipped in February 2023.

U.S. shipments of air-source warmth pumps decreased 7.3%, to 284,612 models, down from 307,042 shipped in February 2023.

12 months-to-date mixed shipments of central air conditioners and air-source warmth pumps decreased 9.7%, to 1,136,883, down from 1,259,012 models shipped throughout the identical interval in 2023. 12 months-to-date shipments of central air conditioners decreased 7.4%, to 620,932 models, down from 670,269 models shipped throughout the identical interval in 2023.
