RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — A keynote address from NFL legend Ray Lewis and a performance by comedian Jim Gaffigan are among the highlights of EPIC2027, the annual conference of EGIA Contractor University, HVAC Distributor University, and Optimus Financing, three divisions of the nonprofit Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA).
EPIC2027 is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25, and Friday, Feb. 26, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and registration is now open.
EPIC has grown into one of the home services industry’s premier gatherings, drawing contractors from across North America alongside the distributors, manufacturers, and solution providers who serve them, a press release from EGIA said. Attendees can sharpen their business skills, connect with peers and vendors, and leave with strategies to help elevate their businesses immediately.
The EPIC2027 keynote slate will feature:
• Ray Lewis, two-time Super Bowl champion and one of the greatest players in NFL history, who will bring to his talk the motivational force that made his speeches legendary far beyond the locker room.
• Chris Voss, the former FBI lead international hostage negotiator and bestselling author of Never Split the Difference, who will teach negotiation tactics that win when the stakes are highest.
• Mike Cessario, founder and CEO of Liquid Death, took the ultimate commodity — water — and made an iconic brand worth nearly $2 billion.
• Vanessa Van Edwards, behavioral investigator, TEDx speaker, and author of multiple bestselling books, who will decode the science of charisma, communication, and influence that can help anyone make better connections and win more business.

Then, as Day 1 winds down, Jim Gaffigan will take the main stage in the grand ballroom. His performance will mark the first time EPIC has featured a headline comedy act. Gaffigan’s appearance will precede the conference’s evening party, to take place at Swingers Crazy Golf, the golf and cocktail venue inside Mandalay Bay that features mini golf, carnival games, live music, a disc jockey, an open bar, and food.
Rounding out the EPIC2027 agenda will be presentations from industry experts across marketing, sales, operations, workforce development, AI, and more. The speaker lineup includes some of the biggest names in home services, including Paul Kelly, Tommy Mello, Ken Goodrich, Chad Peterman, Brad Barron, Jason Walker, Stephanie Allen, and Kathryn Howard. Each presenter will offer a proven playbook for business success.
EPIC2027 will also feature the conference’s largest-ever expo of vetted product and service providers who specialize in helping contractors optimize their businesses and accelerate their companies’ growth.
