R.E. Michel leads Thermostat Recycling Corp.’s Banish Mercury Off the Planet contest after nearly three months of the competitors. In second place is Johnstone Provide, adopted by Refrigeration Gross sales Corp.

TRC studies that 96.2 kilos of mercury, together with 8,954 mercury-containing thermostats, have been recycled from 44 wholesalers and over 150 branches by July within the BMOP contest, which started Could 1 and ends Oct. 31.
