SKINNSKATTEBERG, Sweden — Systemair AB, which makes HVAC equipment for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential buildings, has acquired Temspec Inc., a designer and manufacturer of decentralised HVAC equipment.
Temspec, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and holds a strong position in the North American HVAC market for multi-story buildings and school applications, a press release from Systemair said. Temspec focuses on energy efficiency and noise reduction to ensure quiet and efficient comfort, the press release said.
Founded in 1971, Temspec has approximately 90 employees. The corporate culture has a strong customer focus and an entrepreneurial spirit, the press release said. In the 2024-2025 fiscal year 24/25, Temspec had revenues of approximately $29 million Canadian.
Temspec will be integrated into Systemair’s North American operations, which today employ approximately 555 people.
