PHILADELPHIA — Keystone Products has entered the single-zone mini-split heat pump market. Designed to give trade professionals a reliable, high-value climate-control option, Keystone’s mini-splits deliver targeted heating and cooling without requiring ductwork.
“We designed our entry into ductless climate control with contractor efficiency and ease in mind,” said William Munger, Keystone’s customer service manager, in a company press release. “By bundling complete single-zone systems that ship parcel in two compact packages and backing them with strong warranty protection and direct U.S. technical support, we’re providing trade professionals with a high-value, high-reliability solution to grow their businesses.”
Keystone’s new mini split line features two distinct series designed to give contractors options for projects demanding lower upfront costs along with maximum efficiency. Models are available in four cooling capacities, ranging from 9,000 Btus to 24,000 Btus, meaning contractors can offer solutions for a variety of spaces, from small bedrooms and home offices to large basements, additions, and open living areas.
Keystone mini-split systems utilize advanced heat pump technology and varying motor speeds to match demand, reducing energy consumption compared to standard systems.
Keystone’s Core Series is for budget-conscious homeowners seeking high quality with lower upfront costs. Equipment in the series has SEER2 ratings of up to 21.
Keystone’s Summit Series is engineered for maximum energy efficiency, with SEER2 ratings of up to 24 and Energy Star certification.
Keystone mini splits feature multiple fan speeds that balance airflow power and sound levels. In mute mode, operational sounds drop to as low as 28 decibels, quieter than a soft whisper, ensuring noise-sensitive installations remain undisturbed. At max output, turbo speed reaches just 45 dB, keeping the noise level lower than that of a moderate rainfall.
