LEHI, Utah — Podium Corp. Inc., which develops software and artificial intelligence (AI) programs for local businesses, has launched its AI Operating System for Home Services. The platform puts AI agents to work with field service management (FSM), communications, and membership tools, each built to run the operation the way owners choose.
The system has been live since early 2026 and hundreds of contractors have already made the move from their legacy FSM and are seeing results across their businesses, a press release from Podium said.
“I started Podium in 2014, and in 12 years I have never met a contractor who loves their FSM. They use it because they have to,” said Eric Rea, CEO of Podium. “When you build the system around agents instead of workflows, the business runs differently. The agents go do the work. For the first time, the software does the work instead of just holding the data.”
With Podium’s AI Operating System for Home Services, the press release said:
• The AI employee, Larry, answers every call and books jobs. He qualifies leads, checks availability, and puts confirmed appointments on the dispatch board without anyone on the team having to follow up.
• The AI Membership Coordinator runs the membership program. The agent works through the membership list, books seasonal visits, and keeps the schedule full without anyone making a single outreach call.
• Operator, the AI business manager, runs the back half of the operation. Give Operator a task anywhere in the business and it works across jobs, invoices, and schedules until the work is done.
Using the system, Carlsbad Heating and Cooling, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, consolidated four platforms into one and now has every call covered after hours without adding staff.
