Griplock® Systems provides SMACNA TRI verified cable suspension solutions designed to help HVAC contractors install spiral ductwork more efficiently. The Griplock Looping Gripper provides an adjustable suspension point using cable, giving contractors a practical alternative to traditional threaded-rod suspension while helping reduce installation time and associated labor costs.
Designed as part of a complete Griplock HVAC Cable Suspension System, the Looping Gripper easily creates a secure loop around spiral ductwork. Once installed, the suspension height can be adjusted without tools by depressing the gripper’s locking mechanism and repositioning the cable. This makes it easier to position, level and fine-tune spiral duct during installation without assembling and adjusting multiple threaded-rod components.
The Looping Gripper features Griplock’s three-ball locking mechanism and nickel-plated brass construction for dependable performance in HVAC suspension applications. Available in configurations for different cable sizes and working loads, the system can be matched to the requirements of the installation.
The potential time savings extend beyond the initial connection. Adjustable cable suspension allows installers to make height adjustments directly at the suspension point, helping simplify positioning and final alignment. Fewer individual components also mean less handling and assembly compared with conventional threaded-rod suspension, helping contractors use installation time more efficiently.
For spiral duct installations, the SMACNA TRI verified Looping Gripper provides a flexible, adjustable suspension solution designed to help contractors complete installations efficiently while managing material and labor costs.
